The Hope Haven Gospel Mission Resource Directory has been created so that we may better serve those who need our help the most...the homeless.
Our goal is to provide as much information as possible to help those looking for shelter find it and those seeking a means to help the homeless find that.
Please help us to keep our directory updated by letting us know of any resources that we may have missed.
Thank you and God Bless

This is a Christian program that requires those who want to live in these churches to sign a contract. where no drugs or alcohol are allowed, chores are assigned, curfews are in place, and outside employment is encouraged. This is not open to sexual offenders because there are children around the churches. Daily Prayer meetings are held in the morning and Bible studies in the vespers(evening) and guests have to sign in, unless excused. There are multiple church services on Saturday and Sunday, and these are mandatory. This is, after all, a church they are calling home. It is important to note that it is their home. Three meals a day are served, there is plenty of wood-fired hot water, and unlike many shelters they do not have to leave during the day, unless they choose.

Panama City Rescue Mission is a privately funded, nonprofit 501©(3) organization. It receives no city, county, state or federal funding and is not currently an affiliated agency of the United Way (however, United Way contributors can designate their donations to the Mission). Since 1972 the Panama City Rescue Mission has provided thousands of nights of shelter, meals and the basic needs of everyday life. The Mission is best known for its immediate needs program. However, recovery is where the most positive, permanent impact on the lives of homeless people and the community is seen.
