Getting to know our clients

Because many of our clients become homeless due to mental or physical issues, counseling is often required.

Little Ceasers Love Kitchen Visit

Little Love Kitchen Visits Hope HavenLittle Caesars Pizza arrived on time yesterday with pizza for everybody.

The serving hours were from 4:30 PM to 5:40 PM and in that time 160 people received two large slices of pizza. To compliment the pizza the mission served potatoe salad and green salad. All was served in take out containers and paper plates to minimize the amount of cleanup needed when the event ended.

We want to praise and thank God for making this event such a success and also thank Little Caesars for there compassion in feeding the poor and hungry of our area.

Marine Corps League Gift

Last evening, Thursday, Sept. 27, the Marine Corps League Central Maine Detachment 810 Auburn Maine presented me with a $500 check for Hope Haven. These funds come from the "Marine Rose" fund-raising program which are to be used specifically to help veterans and includes help for charitable efforts by veterans. I am also a member of this same MCL Det. and am a Past Commandant. We're thankful to our Lord for the Det's generosity.
